Other Rules Regarding Summonses to Appear and Warrants of Arrest

Section 38. Summons to appear and warrant of arrest may be executed in any part of Malaysia.

(1) All summonses to appear and warrants of arrest issued by a Court or Judge may be served or executed as the case may be in any part of Malaysia :

Provided that no such summons shall be served outside the State of Sabah unless the same shall be indorsed by such Court or Judge with the words "For service outside jurisdiction".

(2) No such summons shall be indorsed by a Court or Judge issuing the same with the words "For service outside jurisdiction" unless the Court or Judge is satisfied that there are special grounds for allowing such service, which grounds shall be recorded before the summons is so indorsed.
