Baitulmal

Section 43. Source of Baitulmal.

(1) The source of the Baitulmal shall also include-

(a)

the estate of a Muslim who dies resident in the State before or after the coming into force of this Enactment;

(b)

any immovable property in the State which becomes the property of a Muslim who dies before or after the coming into force of this Enactment whether in or outside the State and whether he is resident in the State or not; and

(c)

any property which is given to the Majlis or any property whose owner is unascertained.

(2) Where a Muslim dies in circumstances where the whole or part of his property is vested in the Baitulmal according to Hukum Syarak, it shall become the property and shall vest in the Baitulmal.
