PART XXIX – COSTS, ALLOWANCES AND COURT FEES
Section 214. Expert witnesses.
(1) A person whose attendance in Court as an expert witness is necessary may be paid such fee for qualifying to be an expert or to give evidence and the fee shall be as prescribed.
(2) For the purposes of this section and section 213 the necessity of attendance shall be determined in accordance with the probable normal course of the hearing. Attendance may be necessary although the witness is not in fact called and although no subpoena has been issued to him.
