Section 17. Constitution and Jurisdiction.

(1) His Highness the Sultan may by order constitute such number of Courts of Kadi as he may deem fit.

(2) A Court of Kadi shall have jurisdiction within the districts assigned to it by His Highness the Sultan and shall be presided by a Kadi.
