Section 46. Registrar

(1) His Royal Highness the Sultan on the advice of the Chief Syarie Judge shall appoint a Chief Registrar of the Syariah Appeal Court, a Registrar of the Syariah High Court and a number of Assistant Registrars of the Syariah Subordinate Court.

(2) No person shall be appointed under subsection (1) unless he is a member of the Pahang State Syariah Officers Service, or the Public Service.
