PART III - THE FATWA COMMITTEE
Section 25. Request for opinion from the Fatwa Committee
(1) If in any Civil Court, any question on Hukum Syarak shall be decided, the Court may request for an opinion from the Fatwa Committee on the question, and the Mufti may certify the opinion of the Fatwa Committee to the Court requesting the opinion.
(2) Notwithstanding any written law to the contrary, the Mufti shall not be liable to be summoned to give opinion or evidence relating to Hukum Syarak in any Civil Court and Syariah Court.
