PART VII - MAINTENANCE OF DEPENDANTS
Section 138. Wives.
(1) A married woman may by application in the Court of a Kathi obtain an order against her husband for the payment from time to time in cash or kind in respect. of her maintenance as she may be entitled to in accordance with the Law of the Religion of Islam.
(2) A woman who has been. divorced may by application in the Court of a Kathi obtain an order against her husband for the payment in respect of the period of eddah, in cash or kind in respect of her maintenance as she may be entitled to in accordance with the Law of the Religion of Islam.
