Section 20. Persons arrested by Pegawai Masjid or Pegawai from the Majlis or Penghulu or qualified Guru Agama how to be dealt with.

A Pegawai Masjid or Pegawai from the Majlis or Penghulu or qualified Guru Agama making an arrest without a warrant shall without unnecessary delay bring the person so arrested to the nearest Penyelia Agama or Police Officer or in the absence of a Penyelia Agama or Police Officer take such person to the nearest Office of Penyelia Agama or Police Station, and a Penyelia Agama or Police Officer shall re-arrest every person so arrested.
