Section 42. Abuses of halal sign.

Any person who displays, on or in respect of any food or drink which is not halal, any sign which indicates that such food or drink is halal, shall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to both.
