PART VIII - GENERAL
Section 83. Rules.
The Yang di-Pertua Negeri may, on the advice of the Majlis, by notification in the Gazette, make rules for carrying out the prosions of this Enactment, and in particular, but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, such rules may provide for-
(a) the procedure of the Majlis, the manner and method of executing instruments by the Majlis, and the appointment of subordinate officers of the Majlis;
(b) the fees to be paid in respect of any act or thing dine under or in pursuance of this Enactment, and the method of collecting and disposing of such fees;
(c) the appointment of committees of the Majlis and their powers, duties, and procedures;
(d) the forms, registers, books of account, reports, access, estimates and other documents to be used in respect of an act or thing done under or in pursuance of this Enactment.
(e) the management of any charitable collection and disposal of the proceeds thereof;
(f) the management of any mosque or surau or burial ground and all matters relating thereto;
(g) the powers and duties of any Pegawai Masjid;
(h) the determination and publication of kariah masjid boundaries;
(i) the care and instruction of muallafs, and the method of registering muallafs; and
(j) the administration of activities relating to religious teaching.
