CHAPTER 3 - OF THE CHARGE

Section 89. Three offences of same kind within twelve months may be charged together.

(1) When a person is accused of committing offences of the same kind within a period of twelve months from the date such offence was first committed, whether in respect of the same person or not, he may be charged with and tried at one trial for any number of them not exceeding three.

(2) Offences are deemed to be of the same kind when they are punishable under the same provisions of any laws for the time being in force.
