Section 120. Polygamy without permission of Syar’iah Judge.

Any man who, while he is still married to his present wife, marries another woman in any place without having previously obtained the permission in writing of a Syar'iah Judge commits an offence and shall be punished with a fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit or with imprisonment not exceeding six months or with both.
