Section 169. Discharge of order in certain other cases.

(1) An order of arrest or committal issued on grounds of befor to pay money shall be deemed to be discharged -

(a) if that party has been adjudged bankrupt or that a receiving order or wage earner's administration order has been made against him; or

(b) if the party at whose instance the order was made files in Court a request in writing that the party in question be released.

(2) Notice of the discharge shall forthwith be sent by the Court to be officer-in-charge of the prison, if the party is in prison.
