PART II - GENERAL PROVISIONS AS TO CRIMINAL COURTS CHAPTER IV - SUMMONS
Section 27. Form of summons and service.
(1) Every summons to appear issued by a Court under this Enactment shall be in writing in Form 2 of the Schedule and signed by the Judge and shall bear the seal of the Court.
(2) The summons shall state the general nature of the offence charged and the provision of the law under which it is punishable.
(3) Such summons shall ordinarily be served by an officer of the Court but the Court issuing the summons may if it sees fit direct it to be served by any other person.
