Chapter VIII - Examination of Witnesses

Section 93. Open examination.

(1) A Kadi may examine the witness openly the second time, although the witness had been examined and found to be "adil" or the evidence had been admitted.

(2) An open examination shall be carried out in the following ways-

(a) The witnesses are brought before a Kadi in the presence of both parties to the proceeding and examined by the witness examiner; or

(b) The witnesses and both of the parties to the proceeding are sent to the witness examiner's place and the witnesses are examined.
