ADMINISTRATION OF ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS AFFAIRS (TERENGGANU) ENACTMENT 1422H/2001M

PART II - MAJLIS AGAMA ISLAM DAN ADAT MELAYU AND APPOINTMENT OF OFFICERS

Section 9. Secretary.

(1) There shall be a Secretary of the Majlis.

(2) The Secretary shall be the Chief Executive Officer and administrator of the Majlis and shall be responsible for carrying out the policies and resolutions of the Majlis.

(3) Subject to such directions as may be given to him by the President, the Secretary shall have charge of all correspondence and documents of the Majlis, and shall in all other respects carry out such duties as may be imposed upon him by this Enactment or assigned to him by the President.

(4) The Secretary is entitled to attend all meetings of the Majlis and to participate in its deliberations, but not to vote.
