Section 129. When witnesses may be asked to take oath.

Where circumstances require it or the process of examination of witness is difficult to carry out and the defendant or the accused makes application to the Judge to order any witness to take oath as witness to speak the truth, because it is necessary to strengthen his syahadah, the Judge shall direct the witness to take oath and shall remind him that if he does not take oath his evidence shall not admissible.
