ZAKAT AND FITRAH

Section 39. Payment of Fitrah.

(1) Fitrah assessment lists shall be completed not later than the 15th day of Sha'aban in each year and the fitrah shall be paid to the Majlis or to the Imam not later than the 1st day of Shawal next ensuing.

(2) Fitrah shall be paid in rice or equivalent market value in cash to be determined by the Majlis from time to time.
