Section 49. Summons.
(1) The Court shall upon a plaint being filed under sub-section (1) of section 47 issue a summons to each defendant and shall cause the same to be served on him with a copy of the plaint.
(2) The summons shall direct the defendant to appear and answer the claim at a stated place, date and time, and shall warn him that the Court may in the event of his non-appearance proceed to allow the claim in his absence.
