PART III - JURISDICTION OF SYARIAH COURT
Section 14. Jurisdiction of Appeal Committee.
(1) Subject to this Enactment and any other written law which governs the manner and procedure of bringing appeals, the Appeal Committee shall have jurisdiction to hear and determine any appeal against any decision or order of the Court of the Chief Syariah High Court Judge or the Court of the Syariah High Court Judge.
(2) In addition to the powers given to it by this Enactment or any other written law, the Appeal Committee shall also have power, if appears to be desirable in the interest of justice, to hear and determine any appeal, against any decision or order which has been invalidly made under any provision of a State Islamic Law.
