CONTROL OF ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS SCHOOLS ENACTMENT 1996
PART VII - MISCELLANEOUS
Section 28. Power to make Rules.
His Royal Highness the Sultan on the advice of the Majlis, may by notification in the Gazette, make Rules for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of this Enactment, and in particular, but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing provisions, such Rules may provide for---
(a) procedure of the meeting of the Board;
(b) guidelines in respect of curriculum which includes the subject and matters required to be given and the times to be devoted to the study of each subject taught in school;
(c) regulations and assessment of examination to be held and certificate of education to be issued;
(d) any fees to be imposed as provided under this Enactment;
(e) conducting teacher's training programmes;
(f) keeping of books of account and audit of school accounts;
(g) forms which may be used for the carrying out the provisions of this Enactment and which may be used in connection with any matter stated or required in this Enactment;
(h) circulation of any magazine, pamplet or printed matters by the teachers or students;
(i) to provide the punishment for offences under the Rules; and
(j) any other matter deem expedient and necessary for giving effect to any provision of this Enactment.
