Section 64. Wakaf and Nazar.

(1) Subject to sub-section (2) the Majlis shall; notwithstanding anything contained in an instrument of trust made in Perlis creating a wakaf (whether wakaf 'am; wakaf khas or other trusts for the support and promotion of Muslim Religion or for the benefit of Muslims), be the sole trustee of that wakaf.

(2) The Majlis shall be the sole trustee aforesaid of such of the subject matter of the wakaf as is situated in Perlis.
