PART IV - GENERAL PROCEDURE

Section 20. Advocate and Solicitor.

(1) Not withstanding anything in any written law any advocate and solicitor who is a Muslim, may appear in any Court to represent any party in any proceeding provided that the advocate and solicitor had first obtained a certificate of permission to appear issued by the Kadi Besar.

(2) The Kadi Besar may make an order taht the presence of an advocate and solicitor is contrary to the Hukum Syarak and such order shall be final.
