PART III - PROPERTY AND FINANCE OF MAJLIS Zakat and Fitrah
Section 54. Payment of zakat and fitrah.
(1) Any person who is assessed as liable to pay zakat and fitrah shall immediately pay it in his respective area in accordance with the rate that is fixed.
(2) The payment of zakat and fitrah which is payable to the Majlis shall be paid in money which is equivalent to the value of the zakat and fitrah which has to be paid in the particular year, unless the Majlis shall otherwise order
