ENACTMENT NO. 10 OF 1996 CONTROL OF ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS SCHOOLS ENACTMENT 1996
PART IV - BOARD
Section 15. Duties of the Board.
It shall be the duties of the Board---
(a) to appoint the staff of the school on such terms and conditions and such appointment and the terms and conditions thereof shall be binding on the school;
(b) to collect and receive the fees and other payments due from the students or the parents or the guardians of the students of the school;
(c) to collect and receive other payments for the school, including grants from the Government of Malaysia, the State Government, the Majlis, any statutory body or donations from any person or organisation;
(d) to maintain discipline of the staff, and students of the school, and impose such disciplinary punishment as may be prescribed;
(e) to perform, subject to this Enactment and the Rules made thereunder, such other functions as may be determined by the Majlis, or the Registrar; and
(f) to borrow money from any institution or corporation with the special written approval of the Majlis.
