Section 45. Duty of executor of will.

(1) It shall be the duty of every executor of the will of'a deceased Muslim and every administrator of the estate of a Muslim, if any share of such estate vests in the Baitulmal in the State, to report the fact to the President and furnish him with a true and full account of the value and nature of the estate within a period of not more than one month from the time he obtains probate or letters of administration as the case may be, or such further time beyond one month as the President may permit.

(2) Every executor or administrator of the estate shall pay to the Majlis the equivalent cash value of any share of the estate which vests in the Baitulmal within such time as may be fixed by the President in writing.
