PART V - DISSOLUTION OF MARRIAGE
Section 51. Divorce by way of li'an.
(1) Where the husband to a marriage has taken oath by way of li’an according to Hukum Syarak before the Syarie Judge, and it is so found by him, the Syarie Judge shall impose the punishment of fasak and of permanent separation on them.
(2) The Court shall record the divorce by li’an accordingly and deliver a certified copy of the record to the appropriate Registrar and to the Chief Registrar for registration.
