PART IX - OFFENCES

Section 148. Attendance at mosque.

Any male of the age of fifteen years or over who fails to attend prayers on Friday at a mosque shall subject as hereinafter provided be punishable with a fine not exceeding twenty-five dollars:

Provided that no offence shall be committed by any such person if this absence is excusable under the Law of the Religion of Islam.
