PART III - APPOINTMENT OF JUDGES AND JURISDICTION OF SYARIAH COURTS

Section 9. Appointment of Syariah Subordinate Court Judges.

(1) The Duli Yang Maha Mulia Sultan, on the recommendation of the Chief Syarie Judge, may appoint any Muslim from amongst members of the Terengganu State public service to be Syariah Subordinate Court Judge.

(2) Every appointment under subsection (1) shall be published in the Gazette.
