Section 15. Supervisory and revisionary jurisdiction of Syariah High Court.
(1) The Syariah High Court shall have supervisory and revisionary jurisdiction over all Syariah Lower Courts and may, if it appears necessary in the interest of justice, either on its own motion or on application by any party or interested person, at any stage in any matter or proceedings, whether civil or criminal, in any Syariah Lower Court, call for and examine any record relating to it and may give any order necessary in the interest of justice.
(2) Whenever the Syariah High Court calls for record under subsection (1), all proceedings in the Syariah Lower Court relating to the said matter or proceedings shall be suspended pending further order from the Syariah High Court.
