Section 106. Majlis to be trustee.

(1) Notwithstanding any provision to the contrary in any written instrument, the Majlis shall be the sole trustee of all mosques in the State and every mosque, together with any immovable property on which it stands or appurtenant thereto and used for the purposes thereof, other than State land or land reserved for a public purpose, shall upon the coming into force of this Enactment vest in the Majlis.

(2) Any land vesting in the Majlis in accordance with sub-section (1) of this section or subsequently becoming so vested shall be registered in the name of the Majlis upon the Collector being satisfied in the manner as provided in section 90.
