Section 4. Constitution of Syariah Courts.

(1) The Yang di-Pertua Negeri may, by notification in the Gazette, constitute Syariah Lower Courts at such places as may be deemed necessary and may prescribe the local limits of jurisdiction of such Courts.

(2) The Syariah Lower Court shall have jurisdiction throughout the local limits for which it is constituted.

(3) The Yang di-Pertua Negeri may, by notification in the Gazette, constituted a Syariah High Court and Syariah Appeal Court. The Syariah High Court and the Syariah Appeal Court shall have jurisdiction throughout the State.
