ENACTMENT NO. 3 OF 2002 CONTROL OF ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS SCHOOLS (MALACCA) ENACTMENT 2002
PART VI - INSPECTION OF RELIGIOUS SCHOOLS BY REGISTRAR, ETC.
Section 24. Inspection of premises of unregistered religious school.
If the Registrar, Deputy Registrar, Assistant Registrar, Inspector of Schools, an authorised officer or a police officer not below the rank of Inspector has reasonable cause to believe that any house, building or other place is being used as a religious school without being registered under this Enactment, the Registrar, Deputy Registrar, Assistant Registrar, Inspector of Schools, authorised person or police officer, accompained by such persons as he may deem necessary, may-
(a) enter and inspect the house, building or place; and
(b) seize and detain any book, document, electronic media materials or other article found therein which appear to him to furnish evidence of the commission of an offence against this Enactment or which appear to be the property of, or to have been used in connection with, the religious school not registered under this Enactment.
