PART VII - OFFENCES

Section 108. Refusal to give information for assesment of zakat and fitrah.

Any person being required to give an account or assessment of his earnings for the payment of zakat or fitrah within a fixed time who wilfully refuses or attempts to avoid from so doing or gives an account or assessment which is false. shall be guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding two thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both.
