PART II - THE DEPARTMENT OF RELIGIOUS AFFAIRS

Section 8. Use of Seal.

All deeds, documents and other instruments requiring the seal of the Corporation including the following-

(a)

documents requiring registration in any Land Office;

(b)

letters of authority to the pegawai masjid of any mosque;

(c)

documents authorizing any person to act for any particular purpose or purposes on behalf of the Department or the Masjid; and

(d)

such other documents or classes of documents as His Highness the Sultan may from time to time direct;

shall be sealed with the seal of the Corporation in the presence of the Commissioner or Secretary who shall sign every such deed, document or other instrument to which the corporate seal is affixed, and such signing shall be sufficient evidence that the said seal was duly and properly affixed and that the same is the lawful seal of the Corporation.
