PART X - PROCEDURE IN CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS
Section 207. Sentence of fine.
With every sentence of a fine, the Court passing the sentence may-
(a) allow time for the payment of the fine;
(b) direct payment of the fine to be made by instalments;
(c) issue a warrant for the attachment and sale of his property for the recovery of the fine; or
(d)if he fails to pay the fine, a sentence of imprisonment for a term as it thinks fit may be passed either based on the whole of the fine or, if the fine is paid by instalments, based on each of the instalments.
