PART II - THE MAJLIS UGAMA ISLAM NEGERI SABAH

Section 11. Termination of appointments.

The appointment of an appointed member of the Majlis shall terminate-

(a) on his death; or

(b) if he, by letter addressed to the Yang di-Pertua Negeri, resigns; or

(c) if he has been absent from Malaysia, without the written permission of the Chairman, or, in the case of the Chairman, of the Yang di-Pertua Negeri for a period exceeding six months.
