Section 196. Powers of Judge.

(1) A Judge may -

(a) exercise all duties and powers conferred on him by any written law;

(b) exercise in Court or in Chambers in any proceeding in a Court situate within the local limits of his jurisdiction; and

(2) A Judge may exercise in Court or in Chambers all the powers conferred by section 195 on a Registrar.
