SYARIAH CRIMINAL OFFENCES ENACTMENT 1997

PART I - PRELIMINARY

Section 1. Short title, commencement and application.

(1) This Enactment may be cited as the Syariah Criminal Offences Enactment 1997 and shall come into force on such date as the His Royal Highness the Sultan may, by notification in the Gazette, appoint.

(2) This Enactement shall apply only

(a) to the State of Johor; and

(b) to persons professing the religion of Islam.
