PART VII - FINANCIAL MATTER

Section 119. Banks.

(1) The Majlis shall appoint bankers recognised by the State Government and may operate such accounts as it may think proper.

(2) Payments by the Majlis of amounts exceeding fifty ringgit shall be made by cheque and all monies received by or for the Majlis shall be paid into a bank account of the Majlis in the manner provided in the Financial General Orders of the Government.

(3) Cheques drawn on any accoutn of the Majlis shall be signed by the Yang di-Pertua or by a Member of the Majlis authorised in that behalf by the Yang-di-Pertua and the Secretary.
