Section 17. Temporary appointment.

In the event of the temporary absence or in capacity of any member of the Majlis, His Royal Highness the Sultan may appoint a person to act temporarily on his behalf. Such temporary appointment shall determine on the substantive holder giving notice to the Yang di-Pertua of resumption of the duties of his appointment.
