PART VIII - MISCELLANEOUS
Section 107. Recognition of Muslim marriages contracted outside Terengganu.
(1) A Muslim marriage contracted outside Malaysia, other than a marriage solemnized on a Malaysian Embassy, High Commission, or Consulate under section 22, shall be recognized as valid for all purposes of this Enactment if it is valid according to Hukum Syara’.
(2) A Muslim marriage contracted in any other State in Malaysia shall be recognized as valid for all purposes of this Enactment if it is valid under the law of that State
