Section 71. Vesting of rights.
(1) All properties which on the coming into force of this Enactment is subject to the provisions of section 70 shall if situate in the State of Pahang vest in the Majlis.
(2) Immovable property vested in accordance with subsection (1) may be recorded or registered in the name of the Majlis upon proof to the satisfaction of the District Land Administrator that such immovable property is so vested and the District Land Administrator may subject to his certification accept in evidence lists of immovable property so vested supplied by the Yang Dipertua.
(3) All land which subsequent to the coming into force of this Enactment become subject to the provisions of section 70 may be recorded and registered in the name of the Majlis upon presentation of a memorandum of transfer executed by the parties thereto or upon filing with the District Land Administrator an order of Syariah High Court or civil court or a District Land Administrator in a probate, administration or distribution suit.
(4) The Majlis shall take all necessary steps to vest in the Majlis for the like purposes any such property situate elsewhere outside the State of Pahang.
