ENACTMENT NO. 1 OF 1966 SHAR'IYAH COURTS AND MUSLIM MATRIMONIAL CAUSES ENACTMENT, 1966
PART VI - GENERAL
Section 105. Rules.
His Highness the Sultan may, by notification in the Gazette, make rules for carrying out the provisions of this Enactment, and in particular, but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing such rules may provided for-
(a) the practice and procedure of a Court;
(b) the forms to be used and the procedure to be followed by persons intending to get married;
(c) the powers and duties of a Registrar of Muslim Marriages and Divorces;
(d) anything that may be prescribed under the provisions of this Enactment;
(e) the punishment (not exceeding one month's imprisonment or a fine of two hundred dollars) for any breach of or for failure to comply with any of the rules made under this section; and
(f) other matters for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of this Enactment.
