Section 12. Temporary appointment.

(1) In the event of the temporary absence or incapacity of any member of the Majlis or the Secretary, His Royal Highness the Sultan may appoint a person to act temporarily on his behalf.

(2) The appoinment under subsection (1) shall terminate on the substantive holder giving notice to the President of the resumption of the duties of his office.
