PART X - RELIGIOUS EDUCATION



Section 113. Savings and transitional.

(1) All rules, proclamations, orders, notifications, notices, forms and authorization letters issue or made under or by virtue of the previous Enactment shall, on the coming into operation of this Enactment, remain in force, in so far as they are not inconsistent with this Enactment, until revoked or replaced by regulations, rules, proclamations, orders, notification, notices, forms or authorization letters issued or made under this Enactment.

(2) On the coming into operation of this Enactment, all the powers of the Courts constituted under the previous Enactment and and reference in any written law or otherwise to the Courts constituted under the previous Enactment shall be deemed to be a reference to the Courts contituted under this Enactment.

(3) Any officers and persons appointed under the previous Enactment holding office before the coming into operation of this Enactment shall, on the coming into operation of this Enactment, continue to hold office under this Enactment until their term of appointments expire or they resign or their appointments are revoked in accordance with this Enactment and shall have same powers, rights, privileges, liabilities, duties and obligations as if they had been appointed under this Enactment.

(4) Every act or thing done, taken or commenced by the officers and persons referred to in subsection (3) under the pevious Enactment before the coming into operation of this Enactment shall, on the coming into operation of this Enactment, be deemed to have been done, taken or commenced under this Enactment.
