ENACTMENT NO. 5 OF 1992 ADMINISTRATION OF THE SYARIAH COURT ENACTMENT 1991
PART IV - GENERAL PROCEDURE
Section 42. Rules.
The Ruler may from time to time, by notification in the Gazette make rules for carrying out the provisions of this Enactment, and in particular, but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing such rules may provide for :
(a) the practice and procedure in all civil and criminal proceedings under this Enactment;
(b) the regulation of all matters generally pertaining to persons who are admitted as Peguam Syarie;
(c) the fees to be paid in respect of any act or thing done under or in pursuance of this Enactment and the method of collecting and disposing of the same;
(d) the forms, registers, books of account, statements, certificates, estimates and other documents to be used in respect of any act or thing done under or in pursuance of this Enactment;
(e) the powers and duties of the Registrar and any other person appointed under this Enactment;
(f) the punishment for breach or failure to comply with any of the rules under this Enactment;
(g) other matters for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of this Enactment.
