PART IV - GENERAL PROCEDURE

Section 26. Adjournment and transfer of a case.

(1) The Court may for sufficient reason adjourn any proceedings from time to time and from place to place.

(2) The Court of Qadhi Besar may transfer any case to another Court of Qadhi when a reference is made by a Qadhi upon the application of one of them parties to the proceedings:

Provided that in a case where the approval of his Royal Highness the Sultan is necessary the Court of Qadhi Besar may transfer such case to another Qadhi's Court with the approval of His Royal Highness the Sultan.
