PART VII - MOSQUES


Section 77. Closure or demolition.

(1 )The Majlis may for sufficient reasons and with the approval of the Ruler close or demolish any mosque.

(2) The site of a mosque so demolished may be charged or leased, or applied for any purpose (including the erection of a new mosque thereon) permitted by Muslim Law.

(3) The income derived from any lease or charge aforesaid shall not be applied for a purpose other than for the erection and maintenance of mosques.
