Section 90. Divorce on application of the husband.
On an application made by a husband for permission to divorce his wife, the Kathi shall for the purpose of effecting a peaceful reconciliation make such inquiries with respect to the applicant and his wife as the Kathi thinks fit, and the Kathi shall not grant any permission for divorce unless he is convinced that no reconciliation is practicable.
